The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency, supported 100% by gifts from the private sector. As we receive no government funding, we depend completely on generous individuals, foundations, corporations and churches for our total support.

Our life saving programs, offered free of charge to any in need, are widely recognized and respected in the greater Los Angeles community – by both our supporters and those who come to us for help.

That's why the faithful funding that we receive from our generous partners is the very lifeblood of our existence. Lives are changed at and through the Los Angeles Mission and we owe it all to our donors, who are used by God to restore hope to a hungry and hurting community.

We feel strongly about both our stewardship to our donors, who so generously provide the funds for our outreach to the homeless and destitute, and to God, through Whom all things are made possible.

For Your Protection….

The Los Angeles Mission appreciates the support of our donors and values their commitment to us and those we serve on their behalf.  The Los Angeles Mission does not, nor have we ever sold, rented, traded or exchanged our donor’s names and addresses.  The Los Angeles Mission is unique in that we rely 100% on donations from individuals, foundations and corporations.  We do not receive any government funding.  We value our donors too much to risk losing them by sharing their name and addresses with anyone.  As you receive many appeals from charities, we thank you for trusting us with your names and for continuing in your support to the Los Angeles Mission.

Door to Door Solicitations

The Los Angeles Mission does not participate in Door to Door solicitations, or in front of retail stores.  In the event that someone approaches you and asks for a donation, please contact our Development Department at mcrowley@lamission.net or (213) 629-1227 ext. 334 or 336.
