Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic
The Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center providing quality, comprehensive medical care to the homeless population in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles-- an area known as Skid Row.
Our programs are designed to facilitate holistic restoration of individuals and families whose lives have been devastated by physical illness, substance abuse, economic hardship, and psychiatric diseases. The following services are provided by the Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic:
- Primary and Preventive medical care for adults and children
- Dental care and screenings
- Chiropractic care
- Well child care and immunizations
- TB screening and follow-up therapy
- HIV/STD education, counseling and testing
- On-site dispensary
- Social work and case management
- Substance abuse and mental health assessments and counseling
- Outreach in streets and shelters--including primary care services and medications provided at multiple locations in Skid Row
- General health education (both for individuals and groups)
- Referrals to specialty providers and other support services
