{ Emergency Services }

Our primary emergency services are available free of charge to all in need. We provide hot meals, served three times a day, overnight shelter, clean clothing, showers, shaves and temporary baggage storage.
 
Through the Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, guests receive primary healthcare, TB screening and follow-up therapy, HIV education, counseling, testing and follow-up, dental care, chiropractic care and general health education. It’s one of the few full-time clinics in downtown Los Angeles dedicated to caring for the destitute and homeless . . . FREE OF CHARGE!

Recovery from substance abuse and its consequences requires concern for every aspect of the individual. The Los Angeles Mission is thankful for the success many graduates of its long-term rehabilitation and transition programs enjoy. These programs are supported by the Los Angeles Mission’s Urban Training Institute (UTI). The two-year program of UTI promotes a passion for life-long learning. Students are challenged to attain God’s best for their lives, the lives of their families and their communities.

Through the Anne Douglas Center for Women, the Los Angeles Mission provides a wide range of emergency services for the most vulnerable and destitute of the city’s homeless population, women and children.


Female students of the Los Angeles Mission’s Urban Training Institute are provided long-term residential recovery in the Anne Douglas Center for Women, which was made possible through the generous support of Kirk and Anne Douglas.
