For the past 2 years, the Los Angeles Mission has hosted a Gala Event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Anne Douglas was honored in the first of these events in recognition of her compassion for helping the homeless and her generous support of the Anne Douglas Center at the Los Angeles Mission.
This year’s Gala celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Anne Douglas Center for Women (ADC) and paid tribute to Dr. Betty McMicken for volunteering so much of her time working with students at the ADC and for her generous financial support as well.
