Blessing Breakfast

This
is the start of the celebration for the graduation. In a short
ceremony, the Chaplin pronounces a blessing over the candidates
for graduation followed by a breakfast in their honor.

Graduation Banquet

Graduation
is a time of celebration! Each graduate invites their family
and friends to join them in the Case Dining Hall for a great
feast in honor of their accomplishments. The atmosphere is
that of excitement for the achievement of the graduates who
sit at the table of honor.

Graduation Commencement

The Los Angeles Mission's Urban Training Institute has a commencement celebration quarterly. Graduation is not the end of the journey for UTI students. When graduates cross the stage, they step off the bridge of UTI, leave the pain of their past, and embrace the promise of their future. This commencement, we are honored to welcome Sheriff Lee Baca as our keynote speaker and pleased to announce that 3 graduates will be receiving special medallions from LAUSD in recognition of their sucessful completion of the necessary coursework to receive thier GED while at the Los Angeles Mission.
