Share Your Inspirational “Life Verse” With a Homeless Person Each Day . . . Every Day!

A favorite verse or thought that has inspired you throughout your lifetime can now inspire literally hundreds of thousands of homeless people visiting the courtyard of the Los Angeles Mission over the years. As the homeless read your verse at their feet, they could receive just the thoughtful inspiration they need to carry them through the day . . . or even start them in a new direction in life!

Your verse (of up to 300 characters and spaces)* and name will be engraved on a large 18” x 18” (ground level) brick in the Mission’s large, tree-lined courtyard that is used daily by the homeless to escape the unsafe sidewalks of Skid Row at our door.

If desired, donors can dedicate the plaque to a loved one, along with their favorite verse.

The bricks will be permanent for the life of the Mission, providing a gift that keeps on giving in perpetuity.

Individual bricks will be available for a $10,000 donation to the Los Angeles Mission until all the courtyard space has been fully committed. Please contact one of our staff from the Major Gifts team for more information at (213) 629-1227.

* In rare instances, the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Mission may ask the donor for more than one verse to assure its suitability for the courtyard.
