WHAT:

While many traditional celebrations have been canceled due to the COVID pandemic, Guardians of Love says Easter celebrations don’t have to be canceled only adjusted.

Guardians of Love serves families in crisis by providing culturally relevant, community-based services to children and families. They work to preserve the family, prepare foster youth for successful emancipation. The group also provides treatment, foster care to strengthen the community through service.
Many of the areas Guardians of Love serves have very little access to fun and safe ways to make holiday memories. The Easter Eggstravaganza will include not only foster aged youth but all children in need in Service Planning Areas (SPA) 5 & 6.
Some 300 families (representing about 1,200 children) have pre-registered with Guardians of Love for the event.
This drive-through event will provide Easter themed scenes to be enjoyed by participants from their vehicles. Easter bunnies will give out the ingredients for at-home Easter egg hunts. Boxes include eggs, dye and candy. Families also receive a pre-packaged meal for six to load into their vehicles.
